How to get the IMEI of your phone
To get the IMEI number of your Android phone, it is easy to know the number. The quickest way is to dial * # 06 #, a command to display the unique identifier. Another easy way to find the IMEI number is to navigate to “Settings” and press “About Phone” to check the IMEI code of your Android phone. In most cases, the IMEI number can be found on the back of a phone or under the removable battery.
If your phone is lost but the packaging is still intact, you can still find the IMEI number on the label.

There are many phone tracking apps available for you on Google Play, such as AntiTheft App and IMEI Tracker.
Most can be activated by the text messages you send. Other supports use the IMEI number. Let’s take the first one for example.
- Search for “IMEI Tracker” in Google Play, look for “AntiTheft App ou IMEI Tracke Location of all phones” on your phone. Make sure your phone is running Android 4.4 or higher. Then, start installing the app. Locate your lost phone with an IMEI tracking app.
